A Conversation with a Trump Supporter

I recently was talking to a Trump supporter and the topic of John Podesta came up. He called John "Molesta Podesta", an apparent reference to the widely debunked Pizza Gate "Conspiracy". So I had to ask, "Do you have any idea why, if you think Podesta is a child molester he has never been charged?". His Answer: "Well there are people in the US with political ties that ensure they won't be charged. John (and Hillary) fall into that category."

I see, I said. But (OK I had to ask the obvious), what about the fact that there are no victims. No kids or parents have come forth and said John Podesta molested me. To me that would be the first step for a crime. An actual victim. You seem to be suggesting that there can be a murder without a dead person.

"Well", the Trump supporter replied, "People have accused Podesta on the Internet and that is enough for me."

Ding! We are done now. What more could be said. An accusation from some anonymous troll should be enough for prison time in their worlds. I am thinking we need to avoid this world if possible.
