Samsung is really all fucked up

Man is Samsung fucked up. That is all I can say. If ever there was a company that could drive one away from the Android universe it would be Samsung. Maybe avoid them and just buy from Google.... ah but google doesn't really sell many tablets. But holy shit is Samsung's back line support shitty.

Let me explain. I was gifted a Galaxy S10 tablet off of Amazon. A 256 GB memory version.  I was very excited about it. But, unbeknownst to me, this tablet doesn't have a fingerprint sensor. If you google it, google often comes back saying it does have a fingerprint sensor but it doesn't. Even Samsung is confused about this as if you go into chat, well they will have no idea but eventually realize, yup no fingerprint sensor. Just shitty facial recognition that maybe works 50% of the time.  But, the technician said after maybe 1 hour of torture, they do have the same tablet with a fingerprint sensor and it is only 60 bucks more. It is a model SM-X400NZAEXAR rather than a model SM-X400. Fine I said, can I order that? Sure they said, they will build a cart for me. I asked, on chat twice, "You are sure this has a fingerprint sensor? Everything else is the same as the Model SM-X400?" Yes came the reply.

A week later it arrives and guess what, the model SM-X400NZAEXAR doesn't have a fingerprint sensor. It is, in fact, a model SM-X400. Same thing I already had, just more money since it was ordered from Samsung rather than Amazon. Again it took support over 45 minutes to figure that out with them logging on to the tablet and checking everything. Now I am pissed. I have two of the exact same tablets, just one more expensive. Eventually Samsung agrees that they will accept the return. And after 1.5 hours in a chat room, they offer a $75.00 promo code for my pain. I am not really happy with this but it is better than nothing so I agree.

The promo code never arrives. I call Samsung and (after re-explaining everything again) am told, "Don't worry, you'll get the promo code after Samsung gets the return, which will be in about a week". After that week I get a notice that Samsung has the return. Hooray, I think, I will get my promo code and order the Samsung tablet with the fingerprint sensor (the Samsung S10 FE 256GB). So I call Samsung and after a bit of looking at notes, me explaining the situation for the 8th time, they tell me the promo code can't be sent until the return is inspected and I receive the refund back on my credit card. That will take a week to 10 days. (sigh). I wait and it turns out Samsung is able to get the return inspected in just 1 day. Hooray!! So I call but now I am told, ah... guess what... your 75 dollar promo code was never approved. We can offer you a 15 dollar promo code.

At this point I am pissed. Samsung has wasted so much of my time and now it turns out they will lie to their customers. Oh but wait, I am told, the Samsung S10 FE 256 GB is on sale for 70 dollars off. Samsung can offer me a 20 dollar promo code for this one. Hooray I think, finally! OK build the cart, let me pay for it and this fucking nightmare will finally be over.

Well, today I received the order. It is a Samsung S10 FE 128 GB!!! WHAT THE FUCK! No wonder it was 70 dollars cheaper. It wasn't on sale, it just had less memory. What a bunch of shit. I am not sure what I am going to do as I am so so tired having spent hours on the phone and in chats with Samsung. I can't do it anymore. But I do have some advice if you are thinking of buying something from Samsung. Don't. Just don't. Don't ever let them build a cart for you as they have no idea what they are doing. Don't ever trust what their techs say. It was a supervisor that said I was getting a $75 promo code but apparently Samsung doesn't back their own supervisors and their decisions so they made her a liar. Me, they made me stupid for believing her. I had the chat record of the offer and me accepting it but Samsung didn't care.

Samsung is a crap company pure and simple. They don't care about their customers. And their support is incompetent to boot and will tell you something that will turn out later not to be true.

Bottom line is Samsung is one Fucked Up company with a very Fucked Up corporate culture. They don't know their products, don't take responsibility and don't care if they waste your time. Very very sad.
